Chairs of Hope 2016!

Please join Vandora Springs Elementary for its 10th annual Chairs of Hope auction on the evening of Thursday, April 21st from 6-7:30.

Over 35 hand-painted chairs, using a theme of Classic Literature, will be auctioned off in a silent auction format.

In addition, there will be a “Best of Garner” Chair Design selected from chairs painted from local businesses.

All proceeds from our Chairs of Hope evening will go to benefit The Relay For Life of Garner and The American Cancer Society.

Chairs of Hope 2015!

Please join Vandora Springs Elementary for its 9th annual Chairs of Hope silent auction on the evening of Thursday, April 16th from 6-7:30.

Over 35 hand-painted wooden chairs will be on display to purchase to raise money in the fight against cancer. This year’s theme takes on a “SUPERHERO” look as we honor all of our cancer survivors, those who have finished their fight, the caregivers, families, and all medical staff who are in their own right SUPERHEROES in this fight.

 

Chairs of Hope 2014!

The Chairs of Hope Project is an art-based community outreach to benefit The Relay For Life of Garner and The American Cancer Society.

Over 40 hand-painted chairs created by our 5th Grade Art Club, school staff, and other community individuals will be auctioned off in a silent auction format on Thursday, April 17th from 6-7:30 at Vandora Springs Elementary School. This year’s chair theme is inspired by the Oaxacan wood carvings of Mexico. Our chairs will be taking on a look of vivid colors and patterns plus some images of decorated animals. All proceeds from our auction will go in the fight against cancer.
